Quick Start Guide

 

What’s Included

  • Mobi Handle Magnetic Base Plate (Mobi Base)
  • 3 Sticky Pads
  • Metal Connection Ring
  • Metal Half Ring (for vertical kickstand use)
  • Alcohol Wipe

How to Set It Up

Step 1: Attach Your Phone Grip or Kickstand

  1. Peel off the backing from the adhesive on your phone grip / kickstand (like the Mobi Handle).
  2. Stick it in the middle of the Mobi Base.
  3. Press down firmly and hold for 5 seconds.
  4. Make sure the Mobi Base is clean before sticking anything!

Step 2: Choose the Position for the Mobi Base

  • For Wireless Charging with iPhone 12+ or Cases with Built-In Metal Rings:
    • The Mobi Base is ready to use right away.
    • For a stronger magnetic connection, attach the included metal ring.
  • For Wireless Charging with Other Phones or Cases:

1.                  Test where your phone charges best using a wireless charger.

2.                  Mark that spot with a pencil.

3.                  Metal ring will be attached in that spot to ensure fast and proper charging.

  • For Using as a Grip or Kickstand Only:
    • Find a comfortable position to hold your phone.
    • Most people prefer the grip slightly below the center of the phone.

Step 3: Attach the Metal Ring

  • If You Don’t Use a Case:
    1. Stick the included sticky pad to the back of your phone in your desired spot.
    2. Peel the backing off the metal ring.
    3. Stick the metal ring on top of the sticky pad and press firmly for 5 seconds.
  • If You Use a Plastic Case with a Flat Back:
    1. Clean the back of the case with the alcohol wipe. Let it dry.
    2. Peel the backing off the metal ring.
    3. Stick the metal ring in your desired spot and press firmly for 10 seconds.

Important: Let the adhesive set for 24 hours for the strongest hold.

Step 4: Attach the Metal Half Ring for Vertical Kickstand Use

  • If You Don’t Use a Case:
    1. Cut one sticky pad in half with scissors.
    2. Stick one half near the bottom of your phone, rounded side facing down.
    3. Peel the backing off the metal half ring.
    4. Stick it onto the pad and press firmly for 5 seconds.
  • If You Use a Plastic Case with a Flat Back:
    1. Clean the back of the case with the alcohol wipe. Let it dry.
    2. Peel the backing off the metal half ring.
    3. Stick it near the bottom of the case, rounded side facing down, and press firmly for 10 seconds.

Important: Let the adhesive set for 24 hours for the strongest hold.

Step 5: Use the Phone Grip or Kickstand

  • Align the phone grip or kickstand with the Mobi Base and attach it securely.
  • To remove it, pull gently. If it’s hard to remove, slide it sideways.
